The department sprayed in Antioch 4 1/2 times in 2008 on 8/18, 8/21(spray equipment failed after 20 minutes), 8/28, 9/11 & 9/15. See MAP for locations. See announcement. The notification signs they posted were an embarrassment and did not follow the department's stated policy or law! On 8/19, a few 11x17 inch paper signs were stapled to a stand! See the photo to the left.

Click here to VIEW THE VIDEO of the condition we found the 16x24 paper signs in on 8/28.
See more pictures and read about it (click here).

Before spraying on Sept. 11, 2008, citizens received no email notice until 4:30PM on the day of spraying. Notification calls are supposed to take place 48 hours before spraying. A chemically sensitive person in Antioch still had no notice at 11:00AM the day of spraying.

We suggest you at least read the links at the bottom of the page numbered 1-3 so you will have the critical information you need to decide what risks you are willing to take.
