Tips to protect yourself and your family:

SIGN UP FOR NOTIFICATION
1.) Sign up for the Health Department's email notification of spraying on-line. If you have problems with their website call 340-5653 Mon.-Fri. 8:00 AM-4:30 PM and ask them to add your email to the spray notification list.

2.) Call to register your cell number with the department at 340-2188 so you will be called before they spray.

3.) If your landline phone is listed you should get an automated call but we recommend that you sign up for email and cell phone notification too since drivers will not shut off the spray if you are outside by mistake. You MUST stay informed about where they are spraying.

Purchase a NO SPRAY sign.

See standard PRECAUTIONS our Health Dept. has failed to tell citizens.
Download a pdf flyer (see the left column) for your neighborhood.

See SPRAYING EMERGENCIES to learn about what symptoms have been associated with Anvil 2+2 and what to do if you have problems with the spray. You can also download the label and the Material Data Safety sheet in the left column of this page which has the symptoms and treatments for the symptoms. IMPORTANT: If you were visible to the spray truck driver and the driver failed to shut off the spray, file a police report! Attorneys we have consulted say this is importhant because it creates a record in case you experience problems. Also, report ANY problems you have with the spray or the department to us.

We suggest you at least read the links at the bottom of the page numbered 1-3 so you will have the critical information you need to decide what risks you are willing to take when the department sprays pesticides for mosquitoes.
